About the Artist

I grew up surrounded by oil paintings and learned to appreciate the medium. This developed into a hobby that has become the focus of my college years. The feeling of completing a painting is magical. 

My work depicts the people and animals in my life. This connection to the subject drives my artistic passion.

As a student, I am creating a senior thesis that explores my artistic interests. The influence of a classical education and art history is strong in my work. I hope that my pieces capture my audience- that it transmits the same spark that drives me to create.
